• Commuter students should sign-up for Spartan Connect. This is a commuter student program that increases your sense of belonging, resiliency, and well-being on campus & the local area through tailored events and mentorship.Ìý

New students who will be living off-campus are expected to check in at the Spartan Card Office located on the second floor of the Vaughn Center. Commuter check-in is Wednesday, Aug. 26, to Friday, Aug. 28, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., or Saturday, Aug. 29, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. During check-in, new students will receive their Spartan Card ID and other important information.

The University recognizes that commuter students have different needs as they transition to campus than residential students. Commuter students are encouraged to view the New Student Commuter Tips and Tricks video in addition to completing the online orientation.
